Fanlistings for recent tragic events such as 9-11, or for controversial historical figures such as Adolf Hitler or Osama Bin Laden, are not acceptable. If you are interested in the study of a particularly violent and/or controversial period/person in history (ie. Ripperology), please think carefully about how to phrase it in a way which won’t cause offence.

I honestly didn’t think this was necessary but the nature of some recent applications forced me to add this rule.
